Laodicea - Our Story
Services began in a house next to the current property. The church address is currently 6 Parkway Blvd, Wyandanch NY 11798 where services are still held in the basement as the upper level Sanctuary is being built debt free over time.
Much work was done over the years since building began in 1991 and many hours of free time and labor were donated under the administration of the late great Vice Bishop Clemond Allen Sr., the former Pastor. Also during this time, a large portion of the parking lot asphalt was donated and laid down, sheet rock was donated and put up, electrical work was done and other building materials were generously donated to the church. However, during the building process, Bishop Allen became ill and as a result, work on the building slowed as focus on feeding the flock became the priority.
In 2012, State Elder Wayne Daniels Sr. was moved by the Holy Spirit to help the ailing Vice Bishop Clemond Allen Sr. In 2013, Bishop Allen transitioned to glory and in 2015, State Elder Wayne Daniels Sr. was installed as Pastor of Laodicea Church.
Pastor Wayne Daniels Sr. and the existing congregation continue the work of the ministry and have taken on the continuing task of finishing the building of the church Sanctuary. Pastor Daniels has a revitalized urgency to complete the sanctuary because in March of this year, (2019), he was attacked by illness, was hospitalized and bed ridden for over 3 weeks. The diagnosis was critical but through a series of small miracles (while under the doctors care) and the prayer of the saints, he is in remission as of the time of this writing! It has been a lengthy time of treatment and recovery but with God, all things are possible and the Lord IS blessing! The full story has not been told but God is a healer!
We shall not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord. (Psalms 118:17).
We need Kingdom building partners like you to help us with this effort to get into the Sanctuary by 2021-2022!
A lot has been done but much still needs to be done. Is there anything too hard for the LORD? No! With your generous donation, we will see the building completed! Take a look at the slide show to see how far we've come.
